Spent New Year's Eve at dinner with my hubby and we had a really good time. The holiday ambiance was in full effect, patrons were in the spirit and the staff provided excellent customer service. We ordered a dozen Canadian oysters which were some of the best we've ever had (big fan of East coast/Canadian varieties). I also tried their NYE appetizer - caviar and crème fraiche on a chip served with a glass of champagne which was fun and yummy. For dinner we ordered the blackened grouper with broccolini (mine) and lobster po-boy with dirty rice (his). My meal was amazing from start to finish. The fish was hooked perfectly and the broccolini was crisp and sweet. The po-boy didn't get such high marks because of the texture of the lobster (kinda mixed up like tuna with way too much mayo which makes the flavor of the lobster) and the rice was super salty which was apparent as soon as it hit your tongue (otherwise the flair and texture was great). Cocktails were delicious and beautiful as well. We will definitely go back to try some of the other yummy entrees and it is now our new Oyster Bar!

I've been to Mac's a few times, and it continues to be one of my favorite seafood spots in the region. I'm from MD/DE, and they have the best crab cakes and stuffed crab that I've had outside of my home states, and their other offers are also flavorful and reasonably priced, especially for lunch. The service is friendly and helpful, and the restaurant space is nicely decorated. My only complaint is that the restaurant is pretty narrow and you can feel pretty close to the nearby tables if it's busy, but that's not unusual for restaurants in the area. Overall, I'd highly recommend Mac's Raw Bar & Market. P.S. - out of curiosity, I asked about the "market" referenced in their name -- apparently they just sell merchandise

We tried raw oysters from 4 locations. All we delicious but as usual the Gulf oysters were the only ones of a decent size. The young lady shucking them needs help with removing the oysters from the membrane that attaches them to the shell without chopping into the oyster. The crab cake dinner was plenty to share and delicious. Lovely decor and friendly staff

We came here because the wait at two birds with the harry potter theme was too long Our server was so nice but I didn't get a good look at him because I was staring at the menu too hard but I believe he had face piercings and black hair We got a few items to share and our bill was ~$150 Fish crudo: this was sliced tuna with chili oil, salmon tartare, avocado... It was ok. A little bland considering how many ingredients it had. We wouldn't do this one again but we didn't dislike it Seacuterie: this had a plethora of variety. My husband wasnt crazy about it but some of the items were really good. His favorite was the smoked fish dip and my favorite was the smoked salmon. The octopus was great, the tuna was great. I do wish it came with something to dip the shrimp in though The king crab was our first time having it and we both liked it. It's super sweet for crab meat & quite pricey. I think it was $50 ish for 1/2 lbs but yolo. They also had stone crab claws but we've had those before so chose this instead. It was a good portion for 1/2 lbs We asked our server for his oyster recommendation and he picked the pink moon which weren't too briny at all. We ordered a dozen but I could've eaten another dozen and skipped the crudo and seacuterie. Next time, well come for happy hour and try all the oysters My birthday was in a few days and our server went ahead and brought us a birthday dessert so that was very nice of him! It was a lemon mousse cake I think but sooo good. We couldn't finish it so took it home and let my mother in law try the rest This is attached to Macs steakhouse & they're both good. This side is much smaller & casual. We parked on the other side of the square on street parking but the walk isn't bad from anywhere in the square

By far some of the best oysters I have had!! Our waiter recommended to sprinkle a little old bay on them and let me tell you! GAME CHANGER!!! We also ordered clam chowder which was delicious!! And some peel and eat shrimp, also very good!! At the end of the meal we got a drink to go !! Definitely recommend!! Service was also very good and the vibe in the place made me feel like I was at a raw bar somewhere in new england!

Incredible! We went on a Sunday for brunch, and we were the only ones there for the first half of our meal. We spilt a salad and the crab cake entree. The kitchen will split it for you and it's the perfect amount! Great ambiance and very attentive service!

I don't think there is a thing on this menu that wouldn't be 10000%. Crab dip, hush puppies and oysters for apps the finished with the ahi tuna salad. The salad was light but the perfect filling after all the apps. Outdoor and indoor sitting.
